Right now I'm at Saturday school. It's kind of a drag, but it's not too bad. I mean, we get chips and coke (and I don't mean the drug) for a snack..
I'm actually supposed to be doing this PowerPoint thing, but I already finished it a while ago.
Yay for no procrastinating! :D
Aaaaaaaanyway, I can't wait until I get out of this school. This weekend is MomoCon, and I'm going with my friend!!!
We're not dressing up as anybody specific, but we're not going as normal people. We have neko ears, tails, bells, collars, and all those other kawaii kitty items. xD
But Sunday, I'm going to try to wear my lolita-wanabee clothes. They're not real lolita, but you can get the feel that it's trying to be.
I have like, this black top right? then I put a thin black skirt over a puffy white one, so it looks layered and all, then I have black and white stripped knee-high socks and a home-made lolita hat! That's like... the only thing that's awesome in the whole get-up I came up with (on a limited budget... $5 maybe? ^^). At the AWA last year, this one random girl and an ACTUAL LOLITA DESIGNER complimented my hat!!! I felt so PROUD!
Anyway, yeah, it's pretty awesome, if I do say so myself.
I'm wearing black boots right now, and they have no friction whatsoever. It's horrible! And then they hurt my feet because there's not that much suppot on the soles, but they're still awesome. If I could wear flat ballet shoes during the whole of the AWA, on a Saturday, during a Peelander-Z (I hope I spelled it right...) concert where a girl dressed up as Miku Hatsune stepped on my feet when she got pushed during a mosh pit, then I can live with these, right?!
Lol, but yeah. I wish school would just end already..
-sigh-

Procrastinating
Ugh, I've been procrastinating horribly for the last two weeks. I'm really paying the price now. I've been cramming in all my projects in the last minute, staying up until the early morning before I finally finish my homework, and yet, knowing all of this, you'd think I'd stop, right?
Wrong.
I'm still online, procrastinating away! Heck, right now, me making this post, is an act of such procrastination. It's so stupid. I mean, this whole, having to get an education..
Aren't kids supposed to enjoy themselves while they're young? And yet, as technology progresses, the life you live as a child is the same as the life you'll end up living as an adult. Work, work, work.. Even if you do manage to squeeze in some "me time", it can only last for a limited amount of time..
It's not that I don't value my education, I just think that it could wait. I mean, most of the stuff we learn, we don't need to remember. I mean, who's really going to use the quadratic formula in their life-time after school unless they plan to be in a profession that requres such knowledge?
I myself want to be self-employed. I mean, I'm not sure if it'll be as hunky-dory as I imagine it'll be, but, really, no one knows.
I enjoy writing, drawing, singing... basically anything involving the Arts. I can see how language arts and English, maybe even foriegn language, can play into this, but science? Math?
Sure, some artists use math scaling and measuring to find precise points on their canvase, but me, I'm more of a, "give me a sheet of paper and I'll draw you an anime character" kind of person. I don't go all out on trying to draw real-life things. I completely fail at that.. I like cartoons. Well, manga and anime.. I am an Otaku~!
Anyway, so yeah.. This totally sucks..
Oh, speaking of art, I've recently started liking Paint; you know, that program everyone hates? Haha, well, it's the only thing I've got, and so far, it's been working out pretty well for me. You can see some of the things I've created on Deviantart.com. Just search "ante litteram" and you'll get all my pieces of work. Some are crappy, others aren't too bad.. I have some literature on there too, if you're interested. I've also uploaded some hand-drawn pictures in the past.. They aren't the best I've done, but they were what I had back then.
Hm... I guess I should start working on my French homework now..
... I'd rather be taking Japanese..
Wrong.
